Serving great coffee and a tasty selection of cakes and snacks, Field House Coffee Barn is a fully licensed, large, airy space with indoor cycle parking and uninterrupted views of the Wolds.
Dogs are welcome and have their own doggy menu including sausages and ice-cream (maybe not at the same time - but who knows!). With lots of our walks right on the doorstep. There’s also indoor cycle racks to keep your bikes safe and dry and there’s even a cycle repair station. Parentally supervised camping weekend with hobby classes and free play with like minded children (and adults!) all weekend. Day visitors may also attend!
Friday - settle in and set up. Free play over jumps after noon and dressage under the stars at night... (or twilight perhaps! Or possibly just in front of the cafe at tea time! - early stages of planning).
Saturday - Show Jumping all day, fun jumping callses, suitable for ALL ages. Chase Me Charlie, Parents Grand National.
Sunday - Cross Country, Mounted Games, Best Turned Out Hobby Horse.
Any other ideas welcome! If you have a talent, or teach something or have an activity you can bring to the event that we can engage the children further please get in touch!!! We’re looking for extra stuff eg Yoga, Zumba, Meditation, Crafts, card games - any ideas will be considered.

The Tibthorpe Loop is an easy to navigate, undulating but not technical half marathon through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. A generous 5 hour cut-off time means you can enjoy a day on the trails without the pressure of time.
The event starts and finishes at the eco friendly Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. Enjoy free parking, great facilities and a wildflower seed medal to reward your finish. £3 of the entry fee goes towards supporting local charities.

The Wolds Rangers Way Ultra is a 50 km circular route, starting and finishing at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. Enjoy free parking, great facilities and a medal to reward your finish. £2 of the entry fee goes towards supporting local charities.
The route largely follows the Wold Rangers Way route and you will discover those incredible dry valleys that the Wolds are renowned for. Enjoy stunning views from start to finish.
You’ll visit the picturesque villages of Huggate, Fridaythorpe, Thixendale, Fimber and Wetwang.

Stretch your legs along the Chalkland and Wold Rangers Ways plus the scenic Shortlands, Oxlands and Cow Dales. Stop for refreshments in Huggate or reward yourselves with cake and dog treats at Field House Coffee Barn at the end. (You can also easily shorten this walk by 1.5 miles)

This short walk, to and from Field House Coffee Barn, is a great way to either give yourself an appetite or burn off your breakfast or lunch. 3/4 of a mile is on road but it is fairly quiet so you should be OK.

This is the first dog walk that we tried and I thoroughly recommend it as one that showcases the beautiful dry valleys of the Yorkshire Wolds and is a relatively easy two hour stroll.
